The Art of Viviana (Viva) Paredes

Viviana (Viva) Paredes is a glass, sculpture, and installation artist working from a deep sense of place, stewardship for the Earth, and understanding of the delicate nature of our environment. Language and ritual is central to her life’s observations and informs her forms and creations. Through the use of everyday materials and objects common to Mexican culture, Viva explores the landscape of her pocha perspective by provoking the subconscious memory of spirit and ancestry.
